Women’s Week Sept 21

I attended the Monday morning Rise and Shine event on North Dakota Women’s Business Center Facebook page on September 21, 2020. This session involved female founders Ashton Hauff and Kelsey Rasco. They spoke and answered questions about their current businesses, how they started their journey, some struggles they experienced along the way, and their next steps in the entrepreneurship world.

I really liked Kelsey and the way that she went about things in her journey. She kept bringing up the topic of tribes and knowing who your tribe is, which reminded me of the podcast we had to listen to for class with Seth Godin. She really made me think of entrepreneurship in a new light because she doesn’t think about the nitpicky things like I would. She mentioned that life is too short to not take that giant leap into the world. If you crash and burn, so what? At least you can say that you tried. I really liked learning about her business Dash and White and I can’t wait to go check it out. Her personality really spoke to me and I would love to hear more about her life as an entrepreneur.
